New Things To Do

For many years I have wanted an embroidery machine. When I was making clothing for the kids i thought that little duckies or trains on the outfits would be so cute. Time went on and the embroidery machine did not appear.

Here it is a good 3o years later and I finally brought one home. This time when i went shopping the criteria was a bit different. I now wanted one that I could connect to my computer for digitizing. That brought the price up!

The first thing I did was open up everything and just look and read. Now the big question was, "What do I do with all of this?" I grabbed a few unused kitchen towels and surfed the Internet for designs to sew. I found the coffee cups, added some words and poof! Embroidered towels.

Wow just by pushing buttons too! Here is a closeup of the design I made.

What fun and what is next! I will keep you posted. The sad part is now I look at the bins of hand embroidery thread and worry it will collect dust.

It is the Christmas season, lets see how many gifts I can make.

Thanks for all of the 'funnies' that you're emailing me. It's nice to get a chuckle now and again.

Wishing you the best the Holiday Season can bring. Love ya!
